Phase transformation or changes are a quite broad subject in solid state. Applications range from geology to metallurgy and chemistry. Structural and chemical modifications are responsible for the change in properties as mechanical, electrical and optical, which can be the desired or an undesired effect. The present symposium is open for discussions on several problems which can be analyzed with the help of several SEM and TEM diffraction techniques as well as imaging of dislocations and defects.
