On behalf of the International Society for Autonomic Neuroscience
(ISAN), the American Autonomic Society (AAS), and the Local Organizing
Committee, we are delighted to invite you to attend the first joint meeting
of ISAN and AAS.
Traditionally, autonomic neuroscience has been an area of natural
convergence between basic and clinical research. Therefore a joint
meeting ISAN/AAS will result in a broad scientific program covering
major aspects of the structure and function of the autonomic nervous
system and its main disorders. An International Program Committee has
been assigned and will assure scientific excellence in an up-to-date and
highly relevant scientific program covering all areas related to autonomic
neuroscience. All members of both societies will be solicited shortly to
submit proposals for plenary lectures and symposia topics. More detailed
information can also be found at this website.
ISAN/AAS–2011 will be held on September 12-16, 2011 in Buzios –
located on a delightful peninsula with magnificent beaches, crystal clear
water and an exuberantly sculptured landscape, only 2 hours pleasant
drive from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Besides its natural beauty, we believe
this venue will provide an optimal environment for basic and clinical
scientists, young investigators, and graduate students to interact and
establish collaborations. Several initiatives are underway to ensure a
rewarding scientific and personal experience for all.
Please join us in Buzios, Brazil for ISAN/AAS 2011!
