2. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Papers must be submitted in Word-compatible format and be double-space typed in size 12 Arial font.
2. Maximum 10 authors per paper.
3. Submitted abstracts may not contain the name of the institution or information that otherwise identifies the authors.
4. Authors who submit a scientific paper must be registered and paid in full at the time of submission.
5. Papers must be structured as follows:
   1. Case Report, Case Series and Medical Imaging Case Study (each item below will be assigned points):
      • Introduction
      • Objective
      • Case report
      • Discussion
      • Conclusion
   2. Clinical Trial and Experimental Study (each item below will be assigned points):
      • Introduction
      • Objective
      • Materials and Methods
      • Results
      • Discussion
      • Conclusion
6. Papers must observe the following word counts:
   1. Case Reports / Case Series: 500 words.
   2. Medical Imaging Case Study: 500 words.
   3. Clinical Trial / Experimental Study: 1000 words.
7. All approved submissions must be presented in the form of a slide presentation consisting of no more than 5 slides following the structure presented in the abstract. Six tables or figures can be added for case reports, case series and experimental studies. Twelve ables or figures can be added for medical imaging case studies.

3. EVALUATION GUIDELINES

1. Each submitted abstract will be evaluated separately by 3 interventional radiologists who are members of SOBRICE. Points from this stage of the evaluation count for 80% of the final grade.
2. The six (6) scientific papers that receive the highest grade in the clinical trial and experimental study categories and the four (4) scientific papers that receive the highest grade in the case report, case series and medical imaging case study categories will be given 5 minutes to present their papers on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 7:30 a.m.
3. The oral presentations / papers will then be once again evaluated by 5 interventional radiologists who are members of SOBRICE. Points from this stage of the evaluation count for 20% of the final grade.
4. The three top scientific papers / presentations in the clinical trial and experimental study categories and the two (2) top scientific papers / presentations in the case report, case series and medical imaging case study category will receive prizes.

4. HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SCIENTIFIC PAPERS

Submit Your Abstract

1. Go to ci.eventus.com.br/sobrice2021
2. Register or go to your account (if you’ve already registered). You do not need to pay when you register. You may pay once it is announced that your abstract has been accepted.
3. Click on the “Abstract / Scientific Papers” menu then choose “Submit new abstract”;
4. Follow the on-screen instructions and fill in all the form fields. All selected papers will then be presented in poster format. Remember to follow the mandatory category format / structure.
5. To complete your abstract submission, click “Next step”, review your responses and click “Confirm submission”.
6. 6. You may make changes to your abstract up to the submission deadline: August 4, 2021.
